This is my first ever blog party. I joined Blogaholics when I first started blogging a little over two months ago. Kim from Piece a cake decorating is the group owner. I am excited and hope this gets more and more readers for our blogs. I am going to highlight each person that is involved in the party..

Have a great Friday. I get to spend the day cleaning out my youngest closet. For the last six years I have used it as a place to store all the kids clothing, baby clothes everything. I am now going to go through it all. My oldest wants to change rooms and have her own room. I am going to move my youngest in with her brother and give my oldest her own room for awhile. Of course I have help of my two younger kids. My son does not have preschool today and my husband took Lexis to school. Lyssa already wants to go outside and jump on the trampoline. When I told her it was to cold out yet her response was no mommy its HOT HOT... OUTSIDE PLEASSSSSEEEEE... I can already tell how the day will go cleaning for maybe a hour if I am lucky and then outside for us...

Thankful Thursday

Today I got up and got the kids ready for school and I will admit I was not even going to post today. I have been so moody, sad and just plain no fun to be around. I do not like posting when I am like this its so hard for me to come across happy. I don't like posting like that. So I sat down at the computer and started reading my blog list. First one I came to was The Baking Hen and she has some of the most amazing looking recipes. Its funny how such a small thing made my day but lately I have been so frustrated with my family and never helping me out with what to make for dinner. Now all I have to do is look at her blog bam dinner ideas done! I read a few more that I always read then I come across The Attic Girl and she had Thankful Thursday and made me realize that life is all about how you look at it. She had a list of 5 things so here is my list.

1. I am thankful for the things my family does do all the little things that makes me smile!!

2. For all my friends that listens to me and are here for me no matter what.

3. I am thankful that my family is healthy!

4. I am thankful I can be a stay at home mom even if it frustrates me to no end sometimes.

5. I am very thankful I started blogging and got to meet some wonder people. You all inspire me to be a better person and always make me smile.

Thanks so much to Shelly for making me see the brighter side of life and now I am going to go spend time with some friends and family..

I can not believe that two years has flown by. My baby my last one I will ever have is turning two years old on October 2nd. I know I have a couple weeks still but I have no idea what to do for her birthday party. She does not really watch t.v. or have a favorite character. She does love her little gray stuff kitten "GRACE". I am debating on another edible image from Kim that worked great for Trevens birthday but not 100% sure. I do not know what to do... sigh. Plus I have no idea what gift to get her. The worst thing is she has everything because my older two just passed down all their stuff. My mother in law is getting her a little pink car that she can sit in. We have legos, playdough, baby dolls, tons and tons of stuff. I want something that is just for her. Not a hand me down. UGGGG I just do not know what to do. All ideas suggestions are need and welcome...I want it to be a special birthday, I know she won't really care but I care!!!

I do love art and when I was in high school and college I used to draw all the time. It was a stress reliever. When I get time I still draw. If I was at home I would scan in one of my works of art. I love drawing with pencil and painting with oil. My oldest daughter also takes a art class after school on Mondays. She loves to draw, paint, color, anything and everything that is art... I do some graphic designs I am working on many but have not done enough for a website yet.

I also have a great friend that is a Artist. Brandon Parkinson he is so talented and a really great guy. I still have some of his artwork and some jewerly he made for me. Rockets, Trampolines oh my what a day!!!

Treven turns FIVE today!!!!! We celebrated on Saturday with a family party. I got a cake from Sams club and then ordered a Edible Image from Piece of Cake Decorating. Who is having a contest right now for a FREE Edible Image. Click on the link above to enter and your next birthday will be as simple as mine was. I had to modify my cake a little. There was three balloons on each corner so to make room for the image I took off four of the balloons. The image came in a plastic protective cover. We were suppose to put in the freezer for 90 seconds then let it sit for 5 seconds and peel off then lay on cake. Well we had a little trouble I think since I had the images for over a week sitting around which this is my fault totally.. I put the sheets in between my cookbooks to keep straight and not get bent. By doing that I know I pressed the images harder against the sheet making it harder for them to come off. All I had to do was take a sharp flat knife and score the edges then slide the knife under the image only one spot was tough and tore a little. I think you can kinda see it in the picture but over all it looks so neat. Everyone that seen it loved it. Designing the image was so much fun. I took a picture of my son sitting in the tractor and then added the wording I wanted and a frame around the picture. I sent the image to Kim who then printed it and mailed it the same day. I was originally going to make the cake and use some of his little tractors and fencing on the cake. My time got to busy and buying the cake pre-made ended up working out better.
His big gift this year was a trampoline. We put it together on Friday and had to keep it hid from him for a full day which was very hard. I drew him a treasure map to the trampoline and made him open that package last. Then we all went outside while he followed the map. His face was priceless and the first thing he said was.. I was going to order this for Christmas with Santa. The kids spent the rest of the day and evening on the trampoline.
Sunday we put together one of his other gifts. It is a seven foot rocket and it goes about 100 feet into the air. First you have to fill this little bottle on the side with water then it takes around 160 pumps with the air pump ( which about killed my arms) then you squeeze a blue ball and it releases the pressure and shoots it in the air. We did it three time before my arms were about to fall off. The kids really enjoyed it and we were able to put it all back in the box for another day. Over all he had a great birthday party him and his sisters jumped on the trampoline most the next day also. Around 6pm on Sunday night Treven crashed in the chair. Normally he doesn't take a nap but the two days caught up with him and he never even complained when I said it was bedtime at 8pm.....

5 years old where does the time go!!!

Monday the 14th my son will turn 5 years old. He is so excited and keeps changing his mind on what kind of theme he wants. First it was John Deere, then he wanted Walle, then back to John Deere, and now he wants Spiderman.. I thought my little girl was bad about changing her mind. We finally agreed on John Deere for the cake at home and Walle rings for the cupcakes I will take to school. The picture that is post I am using on the cake. I found a fellow blog that sells edible images. Piece of Cake Decorating offers edible printed on a 8x10 sheet of wafer paper. I ordered and the next day she had it printed and in the mail. She even sent me a test one, her printer messed up a little on one and she sent it to me so I can test one out without messing up the real one. I am so excited and can not wait to make the cake. We are having his birthday party on Saturday the 12th so the family can all make it. I will be posting more pictures.

Sick I just want to sleep!!!!

We are sick here in the Beesley household. It started off with my youngest getting a fever and not sleeping well one night. The next day she was fine, but the rest of us were not. I got the fever next and it knocked me down for a good 24 hours. My husband was next he got the fever and a cold. For a couple of days it seemed like we were on the mend. Then bam it hit us again only this time its the FLU... Yuck I really hate when I get the flu because I am so grumpy. Two days ago I didn't sleep at all. I was up sick and then my oldest daughter woke up sick. Her thoart hurt but was not running a fever so I went ahead and took her to school on Monday. 10 am Monday I get a phone call from the school that Lexis had got sick in class. I go and pick her up and we wait until 11:15 am for her brother to get out of preschool. I load everyone up and come home for the day. The school has a new policy if a child has a fever or gets sick they have to stay home from school for 24 hours after the fever stops or from the last time they got sick. Lexis is doing better she is still not eating a lot but is running around the house bored.... I spent most the night getting sick and I am still sipping on sprite and eating crackers. Nothing is harder then being sick and still having to be MOM.. All I want to do is curl up in bed and sleep. My youngest wants to play and have a normal day she don't get that mom is sick. My oldest is bored and wants things to do. She knows I am sick so is settling by watching a movie. My husband is in the middle of Silage season so he is gone from 7 am to 10 pm. He did take my son with him today to help me out as much as he can. All I can do is try and rest and pray that Lyssa and Treven do not get sick!!!!

I feel like if we can not help each other out every now and again whats the point of being able to blog. I started blogging to get to know people and get word out about my business. There are so many days I have no clue what I am going to write about until I sit down here. Today I am reading blogs and a new follower of my blog is up for a "Strong Mom" award. ME! I Nominate ME!

We just left Walmart where I stuffed 2 grocery carts full of bags into the car with 3 hungry kids and 1 very unhappy screaming toddler. My patience was wearing thin and I was at the very end of my rope. Already warning the kids not to say a word on the way home.
I’m driving home going over in my head the last half hour of the eventful shopping trip of “buy me, I need, I said so” and all out floor kicking and screaming tantrums by my 3 yr old. Wondering if the glares and the looks were for his wild staged Gimme’s or my short responded Smile saying, “Isn’t he cute?”, “He must be tired”, “Sorry, He didn’t mean to snatch your cookies out of your cart” was just a few of things that I mumbled at folks who couldn’t help but gasp at my sons staged melt downs all while I held the 16month old screaming because I wouldn’t let him down to run the isle’s and pull down the glass bottles of Chardonnay wine that the store so skillfully placed on the bottom row across from the milk Isle. Someone had a brilliant brain fat on that one!
Day dreaming out the window while sitting at a stop light I was looking at the empty car seat in the car next to me, thinking how lucky she must be to be out driving alone at the very moment. Then I felt it. Rain? Couldn’t be. I looked up. Nope, clear skies. Then I was misted on the side of my face. I peek in my rear view mirror to see what’s going on. All I see peeking down the barrel of a water gun is a shinny eyed, huge smiling sweet 3 yr boy. I glared at him with a slight grin and said,”Who told you to shoot the driver?” He responded, “I’m here to make your day Mommy” and began Giggling. Yes he Was!! He made my day. At that point I realized I was the lucky one. Even when your at your shortest point having a sense of humor your children can still give you reason to Smile.

When I first joined facebook it was so I could see keep in better touch with my friends in London. They would post pictures little things like that. I only had 3 friends forever... I never even filled out my information page. Then a friend from high school asked me to add her which I did... then it just exploded from there. I finally filled out some info and put in my high school next thing I know I have 88 friends now how in the heck did that happen.. Seems like overnight. In one way its great because most of them are people I went to school with and have not talked to in over 10 years. A couple are new friends I have met on cafemom and its nice to have another way to chat. Now I have a FARM... and FISH TANK.... why you ask, heck I do not know really why I clicked on that but now that I have the FARM... I am addicted. Its so sad because its not even really that fun. I plow, plant and harvest. I do not even have to water, which is maybe why I do like it. Its easy if only real farms were this easy. The fish tank is a whole other story. I killed all my fish...and my friend Lisa is teasing me about killing them all. Who knew you had to feed fake fish and clean the tank... Before I would spend maybe 20 minutes tops on facebook now I find myself on there three to four times a day... What is wrong with me...I do not add tons of comments or anything just a few to bug my friend Lisa. I used to be so focused on my business so motivated on it. I would spend hours and hours on it and now I am still working just not near as hard. I have another friend on facebook that just cracks me up she has started posting morning zen by Edee

My morning reading routine is facebook, cafemom, and blogs I follow. Normally by the time I am done I am awake and ready for the day. I know you all are thinking why isn't she doing regular homework, laundry, cleaning all that stuff.. Well short version, I live in the country and have to drive my kids to school 26miles one way to school. While they are in school my youngest and I come to our second VERY SMALL HOUSE and hang out until they are done with school. Am I the only one that has become addicted to facebook??

Yoga and a 20 month old!!!!

Okay so I am trying to get back into my workout routine. Granted I knew this was not going to be easy with Lyssa being here but I never dreamed it would be impossible. This is how my morning went. First we all get up at 6am to eat and get the older two off to school. Now note we eat breakfast all of us before we leave the house to drive to town. I drop my daughter off at school at 7:45am and my son around 7:50am. Lyssa my youngest and I then come to our small house in town to hang out for the day. We get here I start my P90X yoga tape. I have got toys out for Lyssa to keep her busy...This is what happened...

Yoga starts I am standing in the middle of the floor breathing trying to relax.... Lyssa " MOMMMMMMMMM" "MOM" "MOOMMMMMMM"... I am hungry.. so pause the dvd. I go get her some cereal thinking okay even though she has ate breakfast maybe this will keep her entertained.
Start the dvd again... I am breathing going down to downward dog position just as I get on the floor... Lyssa " MOMMMMM" " MOM" "MOMMM"... I need a drink! uh yeah I should have seen that one coming when I got her the cereal... so pause again get a cup of milk for her.. oh yeah and she is not eating but she is smiling at me...
Start the dvd again back on the floor breathing doing my positions.... Lyssa gets down on the floor in front of me.. MOM what you doing.... MOMMMMMM what you doing???? I say Lyssa I am working out please please go play for a minute.... Next thing I know she sits on me all proud and says.. I sit on MOM...mm like i did not know she was sitting on the middle of my back... pause the dvd again... I get out puzzles.. something she normally loves to do.
Start the dvd again I make it through about 10 mins without her interrupting me.... then here she comes with the puzzle wanting help.. MOMMMMMMM Oh MOMMM and she is smiling at me the whole time. I go LYSSA KAY.... her response was I am a stinker... yeah well I have said that same phrase a few hundred times to her.. I go yes you are dear and grab her and kiss her all over. I love her very much but I really want to get back in shape. So I think maybe if I let her do some of this with me.. I ask her to sit on the floor and do what I am doing.. We are back on our stomachs she is facing me I raise up to a push up position next thing I know she is poking me in the breast.. stating Boob... yeppers that was it for me I was done. Now what is she doing while I type away.. She is playing great with her toys and not bothering me at all. If I get on the floor its a free for all on MOMMY....

Walking Wednesday!!!

This week we started school, so in the mornings it is only me and Lyssa. A couple of my friends and I decided that on Wednesdays we are going to walk until playgroup. Today was our first go around the town. Here we are strollers, double stroller and a wagon full of kids and us women taking up half the street to walk. We live in a small town and there is not much traffic. We started at my house at 8am and walked until 9am. I am sore but it is a good sore. I used to workout for a hour to a hour and half everyday. Then summer happened and just seemed like I never had the time. Now with only one kid I am hoping I can get back into the swing of things. The thing is I hate running so as long as I do not have to run I can handle working out. I have set goals.. you know them things you set and have every intention of sticking to but sometimes do not. Here are my goals.

1. Work out at least 3 times a week....( Monday, Wednesday and Friday)!

2. Weigh in once a week..( I hate this part the most)!

3. Cutting back on my soda intake..( I know I am addicted to soda and if I just stop drinking it I go into withdrawals. I am a real bear to live with so that is why I have wean myself off it...) If I do not get some soda everyday I might not have a marriage at the end of the month....

4. Eating more fruits and veggies everyday. I do not feel I eat bad right now I just know I could eat better.

5. Once a week I am having a day to not stress.. NO WORK, I am not sure what day it will be I am hoping its Saturday or Sunday. Right now Sunday I spend cleaning the house and getting ready for the week. So Saturday is family day where we do something together. Maybe Fridays I can workout for a hour then do nothing but relax....

I know I should have at least ten more goals but I am starting off small. I need to get organized again. If any one has some good tips on getting organized please let me know.... I need a meal thingy that is where I am lacking at the moment. I need new recipes to try and get a dinner plan...

My favorite Recipe~(found on All Recipe.com)
Restaurant Style Lasagna
INGREDIENTS

9 lasagna noodles
2 1/2 cups ricotta cheese
1 1/2 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
2 eggs, beaten
1/2 pound lean ground beef
2 1/2 teaspoons dried oregano
1 1/2 teaspoons dried basil
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
2 teaspoons white sugar
salt and pepper to taste
3 (6.5 ounce) cans tomato sauce
DIRECTIONS
Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Add lasagna noodles and cook for 8 to 10 minutes or until al dente; drain.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
To make filling- Combine in a bowl: ricotta cheese, mozzarella, parmesan and eggs.
To make sauce- In a skillet, brown the ground beef until cooked through; drain grease. Combine in skillet, browned ground beef, oregano, basil, garlic powder, sugar, salt, pepper and tomato sauce. Heat through and stir.
In a 9x13 inch pan, alternate layers of cooked lasagna noodles, sauce, and filling, making 3 layers total. If desired, top with more mozzarella cheese. Bake for 40 minutes. Let stand 10 minutes before cutting.
You can also put this in the slow cooker for four hours on LOW or two hours on HIGH. DO NOT COOK NOODLES FIRST. I mix everything the same then layer in slow cooker with uncooked noodles. Add 1/2 cup extra water all over and some extra cheese if you want.

First day of School!!

First day of school.. My daughter was so excited this morning I do not think she even slept much. When I woke her up this morning she popped out of bed saying FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL... FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL... We fixed her hair, got dressed in the clothes she set out the night before then sat down for breakfast. She only ate two bites before she was done and ready to leave.. Are you ready yet mom??? She was even getting her little sisters shoes for her. All the way to town she could not sit still I could see her in my rear view mirror wiggling around. I pull up to the school and then she got a little scared. Asked me to walk her in and make sure she gets to the right classroom. I got her to stand still long enough to get her picture. I can not believe my baby is in the first grade. I know I have two younger kids, but on days like today I remember the moment I found out I was pregnant with Lexis and now she is in the first grade. I handled it all very well, last year I cried hard when I had to leave her there. In about a hour I go and pick her up. I can not wait to hear all about her new classroom and teacher...

On another note the last couple of weeks I was on Jury for a murder trial. It was one of the hardest thing I have ever had to go through. We deliberated for four hours then we all decided he was guilty. There is no doubt in my heart he was guilty. I will not go into details but he should have been in jail a long time ago. I am so thankful to be done and on with my life!!!!

Relaxing Weekend

After a really long week of jury duty, this weekend I just spent it with my family. Saturday we went to town to get school supplies.. First off I would have gone earlier so I could have missed the last minute shoppers, weekend shoppers and wall to wall people in Wal-Mart. I do not do well with lots of people crowding the isles. I know what I want and go get it. I do not linger, I do not search around. I am a in and out kinda gal. With three kids you kinda have to be. Otherwise its... I am hungry, or I wanna look at toys, I need to pee or all the other eight million other things they can think of to side track my mission. Lyssa my youngest rides in the cart, I am a stickler for this. I do have to keep her entertained while she is sitting but I have that down to a science after three. Playing with her feet, fingers, or just by making the cart go a little faster then normal. I multitask well I can play, drag two other kids and shop all at the same time. My husband ( god bless him) follows and never gets in my way!!! We got almost everything we needed except the pink eraser and watercolor paints. NOWHERE in Wal-Mart were the big pink eraser!!! Staples here we come lucky for me they had the eraser and watercolors. Next shoes... is it just me or do all kids out grow shoes every six months or so.. I think I am always buying shoes. After trying on FIVE pairs finally we find a pair that fit and thank goodness they were on SALE... $11.00 yay instead of $25.00. Groceries next which I was not in the shopping mood so that went fast zoom in zoom out of Sams Club. Still being in town takes us 2 hours which isn't bad considering everything I had to get and all the people I had to move around. On our way home we stop at the hospital where my grandmother is at. She is recovering from kidney surgery. This is another post but I wanted to check on her make sure she is really doing okay. She has been out of surgery for 11 days and is in swing bed by now. But I know her she is super strong and refuses to ask for help. I walk in to find her making her own bed!!! This is because she was bored not because they were not taking care of her. She just really likes to do things herself. Finally we get home around 5 pm. I really just wanted to fall in bed and sleep but... no our community was having a dance tonight and since we skipped the parade, kids games and dinner we promised the kids we would go. We get into town around dark just in time to see the fireworks. Lyssa hated them and just put her head in my shoulder. Never cried just didn't want to watch. My older two loved them tho. The kids danced some and finally at 10:30pm we dragged them home. Where of course they all fell asleep on the way home in the car. Sunday we took the kids to Monument Park.

We spent the afternoon climbing and playing on the chalk rocks. All of us had a blast just hanging out and playing together. Reminds me that we do not need to spend money to enjoy being together. These beautiful rocks are about 10 miles from our house. They are in the middle of nowhere. All around is pasture then bam... here are these amazing rocks. They are chalk rocks and have tons of tiny little shells in the side of them. Sharks teeth are found around them. We did not find any but as a kid I did find some. After a rough week I could not have spent a better and more relaxing weekend. I know this week will be one of the most stressful and hardest I will have ever dealt with. I just look at my family and know I can deal with this and I know in my heart I will make the correct decision. Thanks for sticking with me!!

My week

This past week has been very busy. Monday I showed up for Jury Duty after being there all day I found out I was in the top 40 to be picked from. They narrowed it down to 40 then pick 14. Tuesday morning they narrowed it down and yep I was chose. I was not to shocked to be chose. This week has been long. We start at 9am but since I have to drive a hour to even get there I leave around 7:30am. They also like us there about 15 min's early. We get done at 5pm so by the time I get home its 6pm. I pick up the kids from my mother in laws or husband depending on who has them. Fix dinner, give kids a bath, pick up the house( you would think it would not be getting messy with me gone.. but it is WORSE), get kids in bed I am just done for the day. How women work full time, have kids and still have time to get online amaze me.. They think we will be done by next Friday. Tomorrow I have to go to town and get all of the kids school supplies. We start school on the 17 th. Tonight we are going to town to eat dinner and have a drink. I need about three glasses of white wine and my bed.

Jury Duty

Today I had to go in for Jury Duty. When I first got there I was so hoping I would be able to get out of it. After sitting all day I was chose for the top 40. I go back tomorrow and they chose down to 14. I should know by noon or so. If I do have to serve it will go for two weeks. If I do get picked I will not be posting for those two weeks. I will just have to much to do with driving 60 miles to court and getting the kids ready for the next day. Please bear with me while I go through this and hope they just cut me tomorrow:)

Weddings and Kids!!!

Today's post is going to kinda short. I know you all are thinking YAY I get to save on reading today... My husbands cousin is getting married today and we are all attending. Lexis and Treven get to hand out bubbles to all the guest and then we are also helping with clean up. I can tell you right now today will be STRESSFUL.... I am not concerned about Lexis and Treven they are great kids never cause me any trouble in PUBLIC... Not that they are always angels at home but that is a whole new post. Lyssa my youngest now she is the one that I know I just know deep down that she is going to do something. Last Sunday in church while we were praying she speaks out LOUD " Grandpa Night Night".. Of course the whole congregation hears and just laughs mean while I am turning red. She doesn't sit still well and I know its because she is only 21 months. So a hour sitting won't be easy. I will have my little bag of goodies for her, all you moms know what I am talking about. Books, small QUIET toys, sippy cup of water, and the save all baggie of some type of snack( gummies, cheerios, crackers) all the clean snacks I can think of. Oh yeah and my mother in law decided since the whole family was going to be there we should take family pictures. So not only do I have to keep three kids entertained and happy through the wedding I have to get them to smile after we are done. As you can tell I am not 100% happy about this. Not that I do not want family pictures, I just feel like we have enough to deal with. Then we have a dinner and dance to get through. That should be the easy part but now that I have said that something will happen... Knocking on wood right now!!! I will post pictures tomorrow or Monday.. Ten days of crazy!!!!!

This past week went so fast. My sister came to visit and everyday seemed to just fly by. All day last Sunday Treven and Lexis would ask..... are they here yet, what time did she say she would be here, have you called her to see where she is....and on and on the questions went. Finally at 7 pm she pulled up and my kids were so happy and excited. Well not Lyssa she turned shy on me. She grabbed my leg and buried her head in my lap. Then she decided it was bed time and went to bed. Ewen my nephew was just as excited as my kids. He is three weeks younger then my son. He told his mom they could not stop while they were driving so they could get here faster. What is so funny is they love each other so much but only been around each other a handful of times. We only get to see my sister once or twice a year. since our house is already full with us my sister and nephew stayed in town at our little house I use during the school year. So everyday we had to meet her in town or she had to drive out here.

Monday we took the kids to the zoo. We are very lucky here the zoo is free to walk through and a dollar to drive through. Its not the biggest zoo I have been to but it is really nice. The kids had a blast. Monday night we started bible school from 6 to 8 pm. I left Lyssa with my sister so I wouldn't have to spend all night running after her while I taught crafts. Treven and Lexis were in separate classrooms but both did great. My kids are very shy and quiet I was concerned my son wouldn't even go but he surprised me and had no issues what so ever. Last year he threw the biggest fit and would not go at all. Amazes me what one year does. He attended preschool last year and this year he has really come out of his shell.

Tuesday we went into town to the city park and let the kids play. At 1pm our pool opens and we took the kids swimming. Okay here is where I get the bad mom award. This is the first time we have gone swimming this year. All three of my kids are scared of the water and do not like getting their face wet. Bath time is a struggle around here and personally I was just putting off going to the pool until Lyssa was older. Lyssa ended up going with her dad so it was just the older kids. They had lots of fun. Ewen loves to swim and has no fears at all. My kids loved the baby pool. Lexis did get to where she would put her face in and blow bubbles. NOT Treven tho he is against it and refuses to even try.

Wednesday we spent the day with family. First we went to see my Grandmother and then out to my Uncles house to ride horses. Well that was the plan until my kids seen the horse. My oldest loves horses but was scared once she got close to it. Treven wouldn't have anything to do with the horse at all. Lyssa pet the horse but wouldn't get on even with my cousin riding it.

Thursday we spent the day hanging out at my house letting the kids play. Every night we would go to bible school and by the time Thursday came we were all tired.

Friday we took the kids to Hays Aquatic Park. It is a zero entry pool with two slides, a lazy river and three other pools. We spent 3 hours here and had so much fun. Only hard part was Lyssa never left my side for a minute. She didn't like how the bottom of the pool felt on her feet and refused to get off my hip.

Saturday we met some friends in Scott City and let the kids watch a parade. They got a half a bag of candy, plus bouncy balls and a couple hats. At noon we at lunch with my grandmother and mom. My mom came down to visit and go to backyard bash with us. Which is a car show, bbq cook offs and then they had five live bands. It is held at the local park in town. We went out to dinner then went to listen to the bands. Around 9 pm my sister and I took the kids back to the little house to watch a movie and eat popcorn. My mom also came with us and stayed with the kids. I went back to the park to hang out with friends. When I left the little house I had laid Lyssa down in her play in pack to sleep. I called my sister to make sure everything was going okay. She told me Lyssa crawled out of the play in pack ( this is a new trick she has never done that before) and was mad because I was not there. My mom and sister both ended up feeding her skittles until she fell asleep. This is not something I would have done but one time can not kill her so I didn't say much.

Sunday we attended church and watched the kids sing with the other bible school children. Then later that night we took the kids to a demo derby at the Scott City Free fair. They had cars and pickups. My nephew had never been to anything like this before. My kids had been to one before so knew what to expect. Ewen just loved it and cheered loud and hard. Lyssa threw a hugh fit because she didn't want Treven to sit on my lap. Even though her dad was holding her she didn't want that she wanted me. My first instinct is to grab her and hold her, but I knew that was the wrong move. She has gotten so spoiled and needed to learn she don't always get her way. My hubby ended up holding her until she stopped her fit. It lasted about 20 minutes. Over all it was a great outing.

Monday we went swimming again and out to dinner. Tonight was the last night my sister was going to be here. Saying goodbye was really hard. The whole week was so busy it just flew by.

Tuesday morning at 6am she left, she called and texted me through out the day to let me know where she was. I miss her so much and spend the whole day cleaning my house and getting my kids back in to routine.

Wednesday I had to take the kids in for shots. I swear every year they add shots that they have to have. Lexis only had to have one... she weighed 46 pounds. Treven had to have three and weighed 36 pounds. Lyssa needed SIX....( that was to many ) so we did three and she was able to mix two of the shots. She will have to go back and have two more she weighed 24 pounds. Treven has to go back in six months and get one more. After the shots we went on to a bigger to town to get groceries and clothes for a wedding we have this Saturday. Phew its been a super busy and long week. I left out all the little fights the kids had. This was just the highlights of the week. I am going to spend the rest of the day catching up on reading blogs I have missed.

I am not going to be posting for a week or so. My sister who lives in Florida is driving up to visit for ten days. She will be here in a couple hours, I am so excited. We do not get to see each other but twice a year if we are lucky. I will be back to posting my normal stuff after she goes home. Until then I hope everyone has a great week!!!!!

Bad Habits, Annoying Habits and Things I just wish I could change!

1. Both of my girls chew off their fingernails! Drives me insane I am always saying take your fingers out of your mouth. I know with both of them they don't even realize they are doing it.

2.I am addicted to Pepsi! I have in the past been able to not drink it. I know how bad it is for you but it is the one thing I just can not seem to stop. I do limit myself to one a day. I can say I do not drink coffee tho:) so maybe just one a day won't kill me just kill my poor teeth...

3.I hate cleaning! I wish I was one of them people that found cleaning relaxing. The only time I like to clean is when I am upset and need to think. Otherwise I hate it. I hate it even more because the next day I have to start all over. With three kids and lets face it a big kid(my hubby) the house never stays clean.

4. I get focused on something I have a really hard time stopping till I am done! I normally get focused on computer stuff. I still do not totally understand all of my web site design stuff and I could spend hours researching and reading. This is not a bad thing except I really do not have the time to commit to it. My kids deserve better from me.

5. I am a procrastinator! Well not on everything just when it comes to cleaning. My sister is coming to visit for a week and I need to get our little house in town to get it ready. I have known about her coming for over a week. You would think I would have it done.. UHH NOPE.. but I will get it done.

6. My hubby snores!!! This is above all the one thing that drives me insane. If he falls asleep before me I just give up sleeping in bed with him and go downstairs. This would be the number one reason I need a new couch.. The poor thing has been through so much over the eight years that I have had it. No wonder it sags in the middle.

7. Spam emails! I get around 30 to 40 spam emails a day thank goodness for TRASH.. and DELETE!

8. Back talking! My son has just started this. I am working on him and he is getting better it is something I just will not tolerate from my kids.

9. Whining! Nothing sets me off faster then when my kids whine about something. Lucky for me they do not whine much. Lyssa will when she is tired but the other two already know I can't stand it. Plus it never gets them what they want so they don't even try it anymore.

10. Running! I wish I was one of those people that loved to run, that needed to run everyday. I do enjoy working out but never enjoy running...

This is my list and for the rest of the year I am going to try and do better to break these habits and try and except that life is not always the way I want it...If only in a perfect world my house would be clean 24/7, my kids would never whine, back talk or bite their nails, No snoring, and I would understand everything.. LOL yeah I can always dream!!!!

Treven's I am tough face!!!!

After a long day of playing outside pretending he was farming, flying in a rocket, building fence, and taking care of cattle. My son falls asleep on the couch wearing ear muffs in the middle of the summer!! I had to take this picture it just cracked me up. My son is four years old and has a great imagination. He has a imaginary friend named Jane. Jane is a boy that lives in our shed and helps my son work on things. He will play outside for hours working on his rocket( which is our small slide) by the time they are done working on it. It will have sticks, my garden hose, my gardening can water, and anything else he can find around the yard. The sticks are his levers that make the rocket go, the garden hose is the fuel line( duhhh mom ), the gardening can is extra fuel because you do not want to be stuck on the moon without extra. Now for some reason Jane breaks the rocket and they always have to re fix it. I personally think this comes from the fact that something on the farm is always breaking down. As long as I keep him busy he is a great kid, if he gets bored then I am in trouble!!!

Three things you didn't know about me!

1. I am extremely stubborn, I really hate not knowing how something works. If its something I am interested in I will spend hours researching until I understand how to works. Hence why I am taking HTML classes. I hate not know how to make changes to my websites. I know I could pay someone to make the changes I want and save tons of time but its just not the same as doing it myself. My youngest child is just like me in this. She spends hours figuring out here older sisters toys.

2. I would love to spend a year just traveling around seeing anything and everything. I have only been a few places and most the time it was to see family. I would love to just sell everything we own buy a R.V and go travel. NO MORE FARM..LOL but this will never happen..

3. When I want to relax I love to play online Texas hold em poker with some online friends. I used to do this everyday, then I got a online job,my three kids, the husband, and the million little things I do around the house, so now I am lucky if I get to play once a week.

Busy Weekend

This past weekend was so busy and went by so fast. Starting Saturday with the T.V. guy coming to install a new receiver and satellite. We had been with the same company for over seven years and when I called them to see if they would upgrade up to a DVR receiver I was told we would have to pay for the receiver. $100.00 for the receiver plus instillation. So I switched and got the DVR for free and more channels for less money plus three months of free showtime. So Saturday morning I am running around cleaning the house and then cleaning behind the TV so when he installs the new receiver he don't faint from all the dust. He shows up around 10 a.m. and takes a look around then starts hooking things up. He was outside hooking up the dish part when I look over and see about 30 wasp.. I tell him to get down and go in the house to get spray. Just what I need is for him to get stung. I do not even want to think about him having allergies or something. We sprayed the dish, they had made a nest inside the pole that was holding the dish. Spiders were in it also and at this point I am so glad he is the one up there and not me. I really hate spiders!! After a hour he is finally done and gone.
Next we go to town to eat dinner and go to our local fair. Tonight was Demo Derby night. Now for some of you that do not know what Demo Derby is. It is a bunch of old cars that have been gutted and spray painted. They bring in the cars into a dirt track that they have created with 4 foot dirt berm on the side. The cars all line up and then they crash into each other until only one car is moving. It is very loud but also very fun to watch. I was not sure how my youngest would do with the noise but she loved the whole thing. Now she walks around saying "ZOOM ZOOM CRASH". Around 10pm we get home and put three really happy tired kids to bed!!
Sunday we go with my husband to check on the baby calves and see how much rain we got on our fields. The baby calves are doing great growing so big and we got around a quarter inch of rain on our Milo field. We decided we needed to go to town for groceries and some lumber. My husband is building a roof over our deck. All the way to town Lyssa is still saying Zoom Zoom Crash. My older two were getting annoyed with her. So they started a game of I spy!! Treven got sick of his older sister always guessing right started to cheat. He would just say nope to whatever she guessed and when she would say fine I am stumped he would then chose his item that he spied.. I will give him credit for choosing something that she never guessed but it you could tell he was working hard to find something after she guessed. Since driving to town for us is a 90 minute affair, I spy and What animal am I are great games to keep them entertained. When we get to town, we split up the shopping. The girls and I go to Wally world, which I am not a big fan of but do not have many choices to go somewhere else. The boys go to Home Depot for the lumber. I will say I did find three shirts on clearance for $3.00 and some sidewalk chalk for .15 cents. Finally we get home at 4pm and start working on the roof. Now its 95 degrees outside and way to hot.. I turn the sprinkler on for the kids and fill up the little kiddie pool we have. I even put on my swim suit( something I have not done in 2 years) and jump in the pool with the kids. I was no help with the roof. It was fun tho pretending to be a kid again, we played many games and even follow the leader. Most days I feel like I have to much to do to just stop and play. I only logged on the computer twice this whole weekend, which in one way was really nice. I did not have to stress about work. On the other hand I am so behind on blogs and work. Today is catch up Monday again!!! I did manage to keep the house fairly clean so I can spend today online. OH yeah and did I mention after all the time the guy spent installing our new receiver he messed something up and we didn't get our local channels. I spent another 45 minutes on the phone with a Tech reinstalling our receiver. I guess if I can not make it selling online I can go into Satellite repair!!!

The Third Child!!

Each day I spend maybe a hour at night designing headers, logos, buttons and whatever else I feel like that day. Its always after the kids have gone to bed. I am hoping soon I will be able to have enough for a website to sell them, if nothing else its relaxing for me to do this. After all day of cleaning, cooking, cleaning, reading, playing, cleaning, answering the phone( telemarketers driving me crazy) and oh yeah did you notice I said CLEANING. I feel like I clean all day, picking up stuff, doing the dishes and still at the end of the day it looks like I did nothing but sit on the couch all day eating bon bons ( call me Peg from Married with Children). I have three great kids and it always amazes me the things they do. My youngest child is now 21 months old and I swear she does things so much earlier then the other two. They say the youngest is always trying to keep up well with her its so true.

First.. she talked so much faster and not just da da or ma ma... She talks in sentences now.. MOM I want a CHEESE STICK...or Mom I want to go OUTSIDE. With Lyssa everything is about food or outside. Every time she uses the word MOM its not in the cute little sweet voice she has its a stern hard voice.. MOM.... and it gets louder each time she says it until I answer. She never does that to DAD.. she has him wrapped around her little finger. All she has to do is look at him with them big brown eyes and she gets whatever she wants. Normally its a bite of whatever he is eating. This child loves her food, she is not over weight but she eats well.

Second she was later on walking then my first child but once she started walking she ran.. She never stumbled around and she is super fast. We live next a feed yard where we feed baby calves in the winter time. Its about 200 yards from our house and we have a big shed outside full of great stuff that can hurt the kids. We have a fenced in yard, but since the storm I am unable to close off all the fence and my youngest just knows as soon as I turn my back or go in the house for a minute she is off.. She knows she isn't allowed to go out the yard, but she tries everyday. She is so stubborn( I have no idea where she got that). She knows when I catch her she has to sit in time out for 2 minutes. She does her time in her chair and the whole time swings her legs and smiles. I do not talk to her during this time. I think I need to figure out something else because timeout to her is no big deal. My other two hate time out and will instantly stop doing whatever they are not suppose to be doing to avoid it.

Third she climbs everything has no fear . My oldest which is a girl also never would climb anything or go down a slide alone until she was over three. My son was over three also. Lyssa ummm nope she has been climbing the ladder to the slide for a couple months now. We have bunk beds.. yep she climbs that ladder also scares me to death but she can also get down alone. This no fear extends to strangers. My oldest two to this day will barely talk to anyone they do not know well.. Even if they know a person doesn't mean they will say HI... Lyssa walks up to people and wants to be picked up, says Hi to everyone in the store. Its great and its scary she just has no fear. She does have her shy moments also just not very often.

Fourth she did eat solid foods way earlier then the other two. She keep trying to grab my fork when I was eating that I finally just gave her some. She now drinks out of a regular cup and refuses the sippy cup. Yes I know that is a good thing. Sigh just means she is growing up to fast for me. She is my last child and I wish she would just slow down some. She is trying to potty train herself. She tells me when she has to potty and we go potty. I did not start this and I am not really pushing it. I should be taking advantage of it but until she wakes up dry I do not really want to mess with it. My oldest girl was 18 months when she was trained but that was because I had my son and did not want two in diapers. My son was after 3 years old and it was a big ordeal. I know this post is kinda random thoughts. I was just sitting here thinking of all the things she does that is so different from my other two. Each one is so special and amazing I could type all day about them. I need to get back to that lovely cleaning, cooking ,playing and CLEANING... For the last couple weeks I have been taking classes and working on designs. I am hoping to launch my new website in a couple weeks. Designing is so much fun and relaxing I wish I had done this before I had kids. Taking classes and working while trying to be a stay at home mom is not that easy. I never get to spend as much time as I want on my work. They are always wanting and needing something. Today is a typical day around here. Getting up at 6am, cooking breakfast, cleaning up breakfast dishes,and starting laundry. My hubby took the kids for a hour this morning so I could take my test for my classes. I got two out of the three done.

I sat down finally at 10:30 am to read other blogs. Today was some really great ones.
Green Around the Edges had "Spidey Sense"... it was so true how us moms just know when our kids needs us. As I was reading this my younger two were outside playing blowing bubbles, and other things that I am not sure I want to know about. I always check on them every couple of minutes and I was glad I did. I went out to find my youngest eating mud!!! YUCK
Next was My Parenting 411 Very funny "Bad Mom Moments". Here I just had one of these bad mom moments so reading this one made me feel so much better.
After laughing at others pictures I started reading The Croley Gang "Read with Us" she talks about how God is with us through everything. This past year has been very tough on me and my family and I cling to God to help me get through it all.
Next on my list is Runnin' Late Again" What the heck" I just had to laugh at her post on the idoit who was trying to text and drive...
Now I realize its almost noon and I havn't posted myself yet. I really like to post before noon and in the afternoons read more post or blog hop around. The post I highlighted today just fit in with how my day was going. Its been a random day, and I am sure it won't change as I sit here and type my oldest two are playing with baby kittens. My youngest is sitting next to me saying.. MOM..MOM.. OHHH MOM... yeah she wants to eat. So I am off to make lunch.. Have a great day everyone!!!!

This weekend was a great weekend but went by way to fast. Friday, Saturday and Sunday we were out until 11pm. Each night just seemed like we would get busy and before I knew it was 11pm. Normally my kids are in bed at 7pm and 9pm.
Friday we had a storm that blew over our small shed. I am not sure if we had a tornado or just really hard winds. It moved the base of the shade over a foot before it knocked it clear down. It also broke lots of tree branches. Later that night we went out for dinner and spent some time with some friends of ours. Therefore the first late night. Saturday we took the kids to Ice Age 3. It was great and the kids loved it. On our way home we stopped in town to watch some fireworks and once again got home late. Sunday I took my oldest daughter to town with me for haircuts. We spent 2 hours getting our hair cut and colored( well I got mine colored). She sat there and played Nintendo Ds and was crazy bored. After picking up groceries we came home. When we got home we found her dad and my other two kids getting ready to go down to the river to catch minnows. My cousin, her husband and two kids joined us. We spent the afternoon walking around and trying to find minnows. We did catch about 30 of them and seen lots of frogs, dragonflies, and birds. The kids just love hanging outside wandering around. My cousin and her family came home with us where we bbq hamburgers and finished shooting off fireworks. Once again up late.
Monday is here and I feel like all day I am playing catch up. Catch up on the dishes, catch up on laundry, catch up on cleaning my computer, catch up reading everyone's blog, and finally I really need to catch up on my sleep(but who am I kidding we all need the last one).

Stress Of Homework!

First before I just vent about my homework.. Yes I know I signed up for the classes. Yes I know I signed up for THREE instead of taking one at a time. Yes I know this is all my fault. Now I just have to say I HATE FRAMES!!! Okay I know most of you are like what is this crazy girl going on about. I started taking HTML (Hyper Text Markup Language) classes last month. My first class was a beginners class and I breezed through it no problem. Love it even! So I sign up for three more, Frames( WHICH I HATE), Tables (WHICH I LOVE), and Forms(WHICH IS OKAY). Now if you click on the links you will see my homework. Today I spent three hours on my Frames homework.. THREE hours wasted of my life that I can not get back. Three hours that I could have been cleaning, reading, blogging, shopping, playing with my kids, or anything but that. I just finished it and thank goodness it is done because I think I was about to have a meltdown. Only good thing about today was my kids are taking turns going with dad and grandpa! Today may be our last day in harvest (knock on wood). So I was not ignoring my kids to do the homework, they are out of my hair for once!! Phew okay I am done venting and now I have to go back to homework. Have a wonderful Friday everyone!!

Today was a crazy busy day in the Beesley house. Started out at 6am with Lyssa once screaming MOMMMMMMM. I think this is now a habit and I am at a loss as to how to break her. At 6am I am still half a sleep its more of a automatic response that I just get out of bed go in her room and pick her up. Its hard to be upset when you walk into her room and see her big smiling face. She always says HI!! Then she hands you her blanket and stuffed cat. After gathering everything up she is ready for her morning cup of milk. Lexis and Treven normally get woke up by Lyssa's yelling and are also up and ready for breakfast. Yesterday afternoon I noticed a little red ring on my sons shoulder and after talking to my doctor we decided to go in to have it checked out. I was pretty sure it was ring worm but not 100%. I have never had or seen it before. My niece, nephew, kids grandmother and grandfather all have ring worm at the moment. My mother in law got two new kittens who was nice enough to share this lovely infection. Lucky for us it is no biggie and treatable with some over the counter meds. To bad I had to pay a $25.00 co-pay to find this out. Oh well at least I know for sure what it is and what to watch for with the others. Finally at 2pm we get back home after unloading the car and getting everything settled down I wanted to get online. ONLY NO INTERNET..at first I thought something was wrong with our DSL so after resetting it three times and restarting my laptop and desktop three times.. Yeah you would think after two times I would have called to find out what the issue was but nope it took me three times. I tend to be very stubborn and always try and fix things myself. Anyway the very nice lady from our Internet company explained that everyone was off and they were working on it. That is why I find myself working on my blog at 4pm instead of 8am... I have to take meals to the field in a couple hours and do my homework later. Plus all my normal day to day chores, dishes, laundry, picking up TOYS... GRRR TOYS... I hope everyone had a wonderful Thursday and here is to a relaxing Friday( I can dream)!!!! Also since its the beginning of the month I have picked my July product.

Wheat Harvest

After writing Ten days I had some comments wondering what wheat harvest was about. At the left is a picture of wheat before we cut it. In the fall we drill the wheat and it takes months to grown and mature. My husband and my father in law will begin cutting and normally it last anywhere from 10 to 14 days to cut all the acres. Each year is different depending on how much we plant and how much rain we get while we are cutting. Last week we starting and thank goodness we have not got any rain and it is going very smooth. KNOCK ON WOOD.. The minute I say that the phone will ring and something has broke down.. We have a International combine that my father in law drives to cut the wheat. My husband drives a Peter belt Truck to haul the wheat to the elevator. Where we store and later sell the wheat. My kids love this time of year, they get to go ride in the, combine and truck. The people at the elevators give them pop and lollipops. Even my youngest gets excited when she sees grandpa in the elevators. They start cutting around 8am or as soon as the dew is gone. They do not stop until the elevators close which is normally around 10:30 or 11pm depending on how many are hauling in. It is long hard work many people have no idea how hard farmers really work to put the bread on your table.

Cleaning Sunday

Sunday is the suppose to be the day of rest. Well.. I do that on Saturday. Sunday's here I clean my house and my computers. I know what you all are thinking (you only clean one day out of the week)...As all moms know you clean all day long everyday, the little things like dishes, sweeping the floor, LAUNDRY ( I hate doing laundry, but force myself to do a load a day so it don't over take the house), and all the eight million other little things we do everyday. Sundays here everything else gets that deep cleaning. Where I dust, vacuum, clean of my kitchen table that seems to collect the weeks of junk.. The things that nobody seems to put away, the top of my microwave catches change and jewelry. Wipe down the front of my cabinets and Lysol everything down. Move my furniture around. Just start the week out fresh and new. For the kids to mess up all over again....

That also includes my computers, we have 3 here. One desktop that my kids use, and 2 laptops. First thing I do is go through all my picture files, and arrange them in folders and delete what I do not need any longer. Since I have started designing I have a special folder just for graphics and images. Anytime I do a project it has its own folder. I am kinda obsessive when it comes to my computer being organized. I then go to my history and clear it out, just select all and delete. I also clear all private data here you have options and you can click on whatever you want to be cleared. I do cookies, cashe, and browsing history. I bookmark sites that I know I will use again, within my bookmarks I have folders again. One for blogs, personal use, business use, and ect.

Next I run my cleaners. First is AVG I downloaded the free version, you can set this up to where it runs everyday at a scheduled time of day. I choose to not do this because it is constantly running them therefore making my computer run slower. I do however run AVG everyday I just chose when to run it. Next I run Advanced Windows Care System this is a fix, scan, repair and optimize. This is not for virus control. This is also a free version. I run this one everyday also. I also have Spy Doctor which is not free but a very good virus control software. I run it once a week only. The last one I run is Tune Up Utilities, this is a fix, scan, repair and optimize also. This is not free either but well worth the money if you do a lot on your computer. I only run this one once a week also. I realize I have 4 cleaners and 2 are do the same thing as the other 2. I do not like running the spy doctor and tune up utilities everyday they take to long and I prefer to be on my computer doing other things. Avg and Advanced Windows care are pretty fast and catch most stuff. I also like to have the back up that if AVG does come across a virus I can double check it with spy doctor to make sure the virus is gone. If anyone has had a Trojan or some of the other virus out there you want them out... They can really mess up your system. After all my cleaners are done I empty out my recycling bin and check for updates. Once all updates are done I restart the computer and I am done for the week. I do this on my personal laptop every Sunday. This is my business and personal stuff and I do not want to lose anything. Keeping your files clean makes your computer helps it run smooth without all the hassles of it slowing down.

Over the last couple days I have been designing buttons for a couple fellow Bloggers. After doing my own and a couple of these I found out that I LOVE doing this. I have mentioned before that I am taking classes in HTML. I finished my first class and have signed up for three more classes. I also am learning how to design websites and soon I hope to have one site done. I am considering a graphics site?? I have done a few designs and have them on Photobucket if you want to check them out and give me some feedback that would be great. So far I have only done buttons. Coming soon will be banners, logos, siggys and anything else I can come up with. I am looking for software that I can draw my own stuff with. If anyone knows some please leave me comments. I have heard Flash is good but I have not done any research yet. Today's is a short blog, I am going back to designing. Have a wonderful Saturday everyone!!!!

Ten days!!!

Today was a very busy day around here. We started wheat harvest and I know to most you that doesn't mean anything. For us it means really long hours and a lot of running around. My father in law and husband cut all our wheat which over 1200 acres and it takes around 10 days. TENDAYS!!! Ten days of lunches being packed, ten days of running to get parts when they break down, ten days of taking dinners to the field, ten days of only seeing my husband for a few minutes in the morning and a few minutes in the evening. Its also ten days my son is in heaven. He gets to go on the combine and truck. From morning to night he would go and never complain. The people at the elevators always give him suckers and pop ( things he doesn't get at home very often ). Ten days if we are lucky and it doesn't rain. In ten days I will be much happier!!!! So today I went to town to get groceries. For us going to get groceries takes half a day. I drive 60 miles to get to Wal-Mart or a Dillons. It is still a small town by most standards, if I want a Super Wal-Mart or Super Dillons I drive 90 miles. So today instead of thinking to hard on my blog entry I am taking a short cut.. I got home a few minutes ago and read my emails. A friend of mine from London sent me a really funny email. I just had to share these pictures. I hope if nothing else you get a laugh. Thanks Sam it made me smile and laugh!!

10 Things I never dreamed I would say!!

There are days when I am a mom that I just shake my head and have to laugh. My husband and I have discussed this before. Before we were parents there are things I never dreamed I would say. Here is a list of some of those things.

1. " Do not lick the cat"( Lexis was 18 months and was watching the cat clean himself and she figured she would help. )

2. " Do not throw rocks inside the van" ( Treven 2 years old threw a big rock from his car seat and hit me in the head.)

3. " Go sit in the shoe room" ( All three of my kids have heard this one, and before you all think I am nuts. The shoe room is our entry room and that I were I keep the time out chair. All three have sat in that chair a lot.)

4." No mommy can not lick her own belly" ( This was just yesterday, Treven out of the blue wanted to know if I could lick my belly.)

5. " Dinosaurs do not bite mommy on the behind"( Treven 3 years old was dressed up in his dinosaur costume came up behind me while I was cooking and bit me hard on the behind after my shock I ended up laughing at this because he was so serious. Then had to go into mom mode and explain we do not bite people even when we are dinosaurs.)

6." We do not put stickers on your brother" ( Lexis was 17 months when I had Treven, one day he was sleeping hard, he was only 2 months old and she put Thanksgiving stickers all over him from head to toe.)

7." Lipstick is not for drawing on walls" ( Treven 2 years old found my lipstick the only one I own since I do not wear it and drew T's and other shapes all over my bathroom wall. Luckily it was in our upstairs bathroom and nobody sees it because I still to this day have not painted over it.)

8. "Eat with your fork not your FEET"( Lexis 5 years old wanted to see if she could pick up food with her toes. MMM yeah that didn't work well or go over well with me.)

9. "No mommy will not have this big belly forever."( When I was pregnant with Lyssa, Treven age 3 decided I would be big forever. Then he was really mad when I had her and was not coming to the hospital. He wanted a brother and still ask me when he is getting his brother. I have told him we are done having kids but he is holding out hope that someday he will get his brother.)

10. " Please do not stick toys in your nose, ear, mouth, or down in your diaper."( Pretty sure with all my kids that phrase was spoke more then once. Lyssa is now storing things in her shirt or pants. Toys, food, any little thing she can get a hold of.)

I will also have to take the exam after I get the lil munchkins in bed. No way can I do it with Lyssa trying to type and push buttons on my laptop( like she is trying to do now)!! Today's blog wasn't as fun as normal but I hope it was helpful. I love that site and use it a lot. There is a lot of great information on it. I am sure tomorrow I will have some more craziness from my kids and family that I can blog about. Not a day goes by that one if not all three do something that just cracks me up.... Yesterdays blog was to be continued so today I will finish my Manic Monday. My kids were in fine form yesterday, all three where grumpy and I could not concentrate on anything. At 5:30 we drove to town for out last Tee ball game. My oldest was playing and it was 105 degrees outside :( way to hot for anything outside. I got there early knowing I wanted to park up close so we could stay in the van where it was some cooler. After 2 hours of watching the cutest kids ever try to hit a ball and run around base it was finally over. Yay.. or so I thought, I get everyone back in seats and try to start my van and nope won't start... My battery was dead..( a little back story here my van did this last week at tee ball also and had to have a friend jump my van. I told my husband that I needed a new battery, but he disagreed with me said I must have left the radio on or lights on to run the battery down.) mmm I know for a fact I did not leave lights or radio on I need a new battery.... Convincing my husband of that is another blog.. or gripe session.. I will spare you that, lucky for me I was parked next to the same friend and he jumped me again. We get home around 8:30 pm a hour after Lyssa goes to bed. She really ready for bed by now so I get her changed, in p.j's, brush teeth and get her NOW SUPER CLEAN BLANKET....( thank goodness it was dry and ready for her) I can not imagine the fit that would have been. Put her in bed with her Tad the Frog singing Twinkle Twinkle Little Star and she is done for the night.. Phew one down 2 more to go. 9pm I call the other two from outside we go through our nightly routine, pj's, teeth, book then bed. Of course it never goes that smooth for the next 30 minutes they are both coming out.. I need a drink, I need ___ fill in the blank until I say that is it.. enough its bed time!!!!!
10pm now and I start my homework. I am taking a free online HTLM class through Web Tech University. My website was designed by Storybook Sites, and now if I want or need any changes I have to have her do them. I am the type of person that when I wants something done I wanted it yesterday. I have a hard time waiting for anything to get done and then I have a real problem when it doesn't get done just the way I wanted it. I wanted to make a few changes to my site.. After waiting a Month for these changes I decided I need to just learn how to do it. I understand a lot about computers and kinda already know the basics. I found this great site that had free tutorial Code Punk. I wish I had found the site before I paid her to do any work!!! He is really easy to follow, I totally suggest anyone that wants to learn HTLM or CSS or Java Script to visit his site and read his tutorials. Finally at 11:30 my manic Monday ended when I dropped in bed and went to sleep.. I guess I got a few things done Tuesday will be better!!!

Manic Monday 5 random things

I do not know about everyone else, but why is it so hard to get anything done on Monday!! Normally I am very organized person. Only today did not go as I planned..

1. I get up at 6am to my youngest child yelling MOM.... as loud as she can even though she is only across my hall. Of course her yelling also wakes up my other two children. I fix breakfast for all three, which consist of yogurt and toast. Then start packing my husbands lunch so he can go to work. Now this starts my second part of my morning oh yeah did I mention its only 8am....

2. The kids and I go outside to feed the cats, and dogs. Plus I know its going to be 100 degrees today and I want my kids to get some outside time in now while it is cool (if you can consider 87 cool). I take my laptop outside with me hoping to get my emails read while the kids are busy playing. Yeah what was I thinking... that lasted about 2 emails before I hear MOMMMMMM once again my youngest yelling at me. The funny thing is she does not yell at anyone else just me. She is wanting to swing. So after 10 minutes of swinging time...I once again sit down to try and finish my emails. Of course my battery light is flashing on my laptop( oops should have checked that before going outside). So I take it inside plug it in. I started dishes and laundry. Now here is where I made the big mistake of trying to include my youngest in my chores. My little Lyssa has a blanket and stuffed kitty that is pretty much attached to her hip. They needed washed so I have her put them in the washer along with some other stuffed animals and kids clothes. AFTER I put in soap and started the machine my youngest throws the mother of all fits..SCREAMING at the top of lungs for her blanket and kitty.. After having two other kids you would think I would learn by now. I explained to her that blanket and kitty needed a bath!! No that did not work. I finally just ended up ignoring the fit because frankly I am tired of hearing her scream and I know with her nothing will get through to her at this point. I walk away and finish the dishes. It is now 9:30am I still have not done any online work at all...Oh and I have not taken time to eat breakfast or workout.

3. After 30mins Lyssa finally stops screaming for her blanket but is sitting on the couch glaring at me. I am once again trying to finish reading my emails. I am new to blogging and trying to read other peoples blogs, look at some sites and trying to get a great idea for my own blog today! I did read a great blog How to get traffic to your blog and bookmarked a Blogging Bootcamp. Joined another group in cafemom Bloggin Moms. I just can not seem to concentrate on one thing today. I keep jumping around from thing to thing...Which could be from my kids interrupting me every few minutes for a drink, a toy, wanting t.v turned on... oh yeah and the endless snacks.

4 Finally 11am rolls around I finished checking emails responded to a couple. Added a new link on my site.

5. Noon, lunch time and all three of my kids are letting me know it. I fix the kids lunch, ham & cheese with pickles! Strawberries with splenda.. gotta love splenda. I sit down with them and get to eat finally. Now its 1pm which I call MOMMY TIME... my youngest goes down for a nap and my other two have quiet time. They do not nap anymore but they do rest and watch a movie or read books...So now I finally get to get some work done and blog. My blog today was not really thought out it just kinda happened. So to be continued..... later after the kids get in bed.

I have been selling online and been a member of Cafemom for over a year now. It wasn't until I joined the group called Ebay sellers that I met ~eDee. First let me say wow does she have engery and tons and tons and tons of information. I was on the verge of quitting my online stores and trying to find a boring old job. Thing is I love being online, and I love selling. I was just so tired of beating my head against a wall to make anything. Then I met ~eDee and started reading her post she had on Cafemom Ebay sellers group. Everything she said was easy to follow and so simple to do. She has a great site Stuck at Home Mom. On this site you can learn about drop shipping, Real Paid Suvery Jobs, Affiliate marketing, Jobs at home and so much more. Oh yeah and she has stuff for FREE ON THERE.... clothes, movies, books. Cafemom also got me to start blogging. The next great group I found was Blogger Mommies. There are some really wonderful Bloggers in this group. I checked out some of the blogs and I am starting to following a couple. The Croley Gang and Jess Knows Best! I plan on checking every ones out. Its just hard with 3 little ones running around.
